My RFXCOM LAN device had an old transmitter which was unable to handle the new generation of KAKU (Click on click off) devices. One visit to the RFXCOM headquarters solved the problem. Now I have the new RFXmitter.  Now I can start doing tests with the new KAKU devices.

RFX Receiver module

The new RFXmitter module was instantly recognized by both the RFXCOM LAN and the RFXCOM plugin for Homeseer. Nice!

Now I have to find the time to start playing with Klik-aan-klik-uit ;-)

What about KAKU?

KAKU devices are cheap light/device switches that use RF. The remote controls in my home have been replaced by KAKU remotes. Result: if for some reason my Homeseer doesn’t respond the remotes will keep working.
